What inspired your interest in public health?

Growing up, I saw how easily families struggle when health is ignored. It inspired me to protect our community early, keeping everyone healthy, active, and thriving together.

What public health issue or area are you most passionate about, and why?

I am deeply passionate about Occupational and Environmental Health because our surroundings dictate our well-being. The environment is vast, constantly shifting, and heavily impacts community health. By making workplaces safer and protecting our natural surroundings, we can stop illnesses at the root, ensuring a healthier future for everyone.

Briefly describe the TIPH Global project you are supporting and your role in it.

The This Is Public Health (TIPH) Global campaign highlights public health’s impact globally. My role is small but meaningful: I conduct health education and awareness sessions for school children, empowering the next generation with the knowledge to stay safe and healthy.

What do you hope your project will contribute to your institution, community, or the broader public health field?

I hope this project nurtures a healthier, more environmentally aware younger generation. By teaching kids early, we create a ripple effect by empowering them to practice healthy habits, protect their surroundings, and inspire their families toward a sustainable future.

What are your future study or career interests?

I aim to specialize deeply in environmental health concerning workplaces. My focus is on studying how evolving environmental hazards impact worker safety, allowing me to develop better preventive strategies that protect both our workforce and the surrounding community.
