TIPH Global Grants

The This is Public Health (TIPH) Global Grant Program provides awards to academic public health institutions around the world to develop TIPH Global campaigns that increase the visibility of public health in a region outside of the United States. TIPH Global projects promote awareness of public health issues, education, and career opportunities worldwide, with a specific emphasis on local communities.

Who Workforce Roadmap

In 2022, the World Health Organization (WHO) launched Building the public health and emergency workforce: A roadmap, focusing on three key areas: defining the essential public health functions; strengthening competency-based education; and mapping and measuring associated occupations. The Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH) is honored to be a signatory, recognizing that schools and programs of public health around the world will be important partners for countries as they work to implement the roadmap and strengthen the public health workforce.

Climate and Health

Climate change is among the most critical and urgent public health challenges we face today, affecting communities worldwide in countless ways with negative and often inequitable outcomes. Addressing the impacts of climate change is a fundamental responsibility of public health and aligns with the values of GNAPH. Collectively, we can take action to build resilience, train the future public health workforce, and explore solutions to protect the health and well-being of populations globally.

Public Health Diplomacy

Public health diplomacy is critical to the protection and advancement of health security, equity, and sustainable international relationships. In an increasingly interconnected and interdependent global society, health diplomacy will inevitably play a vital part in building the trust of our diverse populations and allowing for peaceful and effective public health advocacy and action. GNAPH is committed to this work and recognizes health diplomacy as a top priority.
