Regional Climate and Health Community of Practice Faculty Leads
The Communities of Practice (CoPs) are meant to operate as regional networks that support faculty who have completed the Climate-Ready Classrooms course – or a comparable GCCHE course – in applying new skills and integrating climate and health content into their curricula through peer-to-peer exchange of resources and effective practices. With GNAPH support, each of its regional member associations will host a learning collaborative led by regional experts. The structure and activities of each CoP will remain flexible to reflect locally relevant pedagogy and priorities.
The Regional Faculty Lead will coordinate and facilitate the CoP within their GNAPH region and will receive an honorarium for their contributions.

- Plan and facilitate bi-monthly CoP virtual sessions (e.g., via Zoom or Microsoft Teams), ensuring session agendas align with the global curriculum and regional needs
- Collaborate with GNAPH and GCCHE to refine session learning objectives, noting any key gaps in faculty knowledge or skills
- Moderate discussions, foster engagement, and create an inclusive, respectful learning environment
- Identify, invite, and coordinate regional guest speakers and local experts for appropriate sessions
- Encourage participants to apply CoP learning to curriculum development or reform at their institutions and help share success stories, lessons learned, and challenges from the region

- Demonstrate the ability to conduct CoP sessions in the local/regional language(s) as needed along with fluency in English to coordinate with GNAPH and GCCHE and to engage in global-level exchanges.
Time Commitment
