My name is long. You can just call me, Dr. Emer. I am a public health academician and Professor from the Department of Health Policy and Administration (DHPA) of the College of Public Health (CPH) of the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM), based in Manila, Philippines. My undergraduate course is Public Health. I am a licensed medical doctor, and I also have a master in business administration (yes, that’s MD, MBA) from the same UP. I teach public health management for undergraduate students, and leadership / governance courses for graduate students of Master in Hospital Administration (MHA). My team was one of the recipients of the Riegelman TIPH Global Grant way back when we were still reeling from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Those were exciting times, and we were happy to have survived and tell our story to the ASPPH team of Ms. Rebecca F. I am happy and look forward to our future collaborations here in GNAPH to make the world a better place. On research publications and interests, my Google Scholar profile is here.
