GNAPH association members are very concerned about the United States’ intent to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO). Statements from ASPPH President and CEO Laura Magaña, from ASPHER, and from ASPHA highlight the importance of global collaboration and advocate for the US administration to reconsider withdrawing from WHO. Health and disease recognize no borders, and it is more important than ever to stand together as a global community to protect the public’s health. GNAPH will continue to work as a global community to strengthen public health education and training and will also continue its engagement with WHO, especially in regard to implementation of their Workforce Roadmap.
