The Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education (GCCHE) has launched its 2026–2027 global survey on Climate Education in Public Health Schools, and GNAPH encourages public health educators across its global network to participate.
The survey aims to assess how climate and planetary health are currently being integrated into public health education worldwide. Responses will contribute to the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change indicator on climate and health education, helping build evidence on existing gaps and opportunities and inform education policy, workforce development, and future investment in preparing health professionals for the impacts of climate change.
Faculty members, academics, and course coordinators who design, teach, or are familiar with climate and planetary health content are encouraged to respond. Importantly, participation is also encouraged from programs that do not currently offer climate and health content, helping ensure that the survey captures a more complete picture of public health education globally.
The survey takes approximately 5–15 minutes, is available in seven or more languages, and is anonymous and confidential. It will remain open through February 1, 2027.

GNAPH members are also encouraged to share the survey broadly with faculty and colleagues across their institutions and networks to help ensure strong representation from diverse regions and educational contexts.
