Congratulations to our Climate and Health Community of Practice participants!

This month marks the conclusion of GNAPH’s regional Climate and Health Communities of Practice (CoPs), developed in collaboration with the Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education (GCCHE) and following from our Climate-Ready Classrooms course. Across six GNAPH regions, nearly 90 public health educators came together through a multi-month series of regional and cross-regional conversations focused on strengthening the integration of climate and health into public health education.

Thank you to everyone who contributed your time, ideas, resources, and experiences throughout the CoPs. The program may be concluding, but we hope the exchange continues here in the GNAPH Online Community.

Let’s keep the conversation going! What is one idea, resource, teaching approach, or next step from the CoP that you are taking back to your institution? Share it in the comments and feel free to ask questions or connect with colleagues working through similar challenges.

Congratulations again to all our participants and faculty leads.

GCCHE has launched its 2026–27 global survey on Climate Education in Public Health Schools, and we’d love to see strong participation from across the GNAPH network. The survey is open to faculty, academics, and course coordinators whether or not climate and health content is currently part of their curriculum, and responses will help inform the Lancet Countdown indicator on climate and health education. It takes about 5–15 minutes and is open through February 1, 2027.

You can learn more and access the survey here: https://globalnetworkpublichealth.org/gcche-launches-2026-27-global-survey-on-climate-education-in-public-health-schools/
